Biography Steven Tyler - songwriter, multi-instrumentalist

Steven Tyler (born Steven Victor Tallarico; March 26, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and former television music competition judge, best known as the frontman of the Boston-based rock band Aerosmith, in which he also plays the harmonica, and occasional piano and percussion. He is known as the "Demon of Screamin'"[1] due to his high screams and his wide vocal range. He is also known for his on-stage acrobatics. During his high-energy performances, he usually dresses in bright, colorful outfits with his trademark scarves hanging from his microphone stand. In the 1970s, Tyler rose to prominence as the frontman of Aerosmith, which released such milestone hard rock albums as Toys in the Attic and Rocks. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Tyler had a heavy drug and alcohol addiction, and the band's popularity waned.
He completed drug rehabilitation in 1986 and subsequently maintained sobriety for over 20 years but had a relapse with prescription painkillers in the late 2000s, for which he successfully received treatment in 2009.[2] After Aerosmith launched a remarkable comeback in the late 1980s and early 1990s with the albums Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get a Grip, Tyler became a household name and has remained a relevant rock icon. As a result, he has since embarked on several solo endeavors including guest appearances on other artists' music, film and TV roles (including as a judge on American Idol), authoring a bestselling book, and solo work (including a Top 40 hit single in 2011). However, he has continued to record music and perform with Aerosmith, after more than 43 years in the band. The band's latest album, Music from Another Dimension!, was released in November 2012.
Tyler is included among Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers.[3] He was also ranked 3rd on Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time. In 2001, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Aerosmith, and in 2013, Tyler and his songwriting partner Joe Perry received the ASCAP Founders Award and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

She was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Having had little exposure to mainstream pop music in her childhood, she pursued a career in gospel music as a teen and released her debut studio album, Katy Hudson (2001). She later recorded a collaborative album with The Matrix and a solo album she worked on with Glen Ballard, the latter of which was never released.

In April 2007, Perry signed a recording contract with Capitol Records. She rose to prominence with the release of her single "I Kissed a Girl" followed by her second album, One of the Boys (2008). The album is predominantly pop rock and features themes of heartbreak and teenage adventure. Perry's third record, Teenage Dream (2010), was preceded by the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles "California Gurls" and "Teenage Dream", and later produced the number-one singles "Firework", "E.T.", and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". Teenage Dream became the first album recorded by a female artist in history to produce five number-one hits, and the second album overall after Michael Jackson's Bad (1987). The album features genres such as pop, rock, disco, electronic music, funk, and hip hop, whilst its themes focus on teenage love, partying, self-empowerment, and personal growth. In March 2012, she re-released Teenage Dream as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, which was preceded by its number-one single "Part of Me". Her fourth album, Prism (2013), was preceded by the number-one single "Roar". Biography Satoshi Nakamoto - created the Bitcoin protocol

Satoshi Nakamoto (中本哲史 Nakamoto Satoshi?) is the pseudonymous person or group that designed and created the Bitcoin protocol and reference software, Bitcoin-Qt. In 2008, Nakamoto published a paper[1][2] on The Cryptography Mailing list at metzdowd.com[3] describing the Bitcoin digital currency. In 2009, he released the first Bitcoin software that launched the network and the first units of the Bitcoin currency.[4][5]
Nakamoto continued to contribute to his Bitcoin software release with other developers until contact with his team and the community gradually began to fade in mid-2010. Near this time, he handed over control of the source code repository and alert key functions of the software to Gavin Andresen.[citation needed] Also around this same time, he handed over control of the Bitcoin.org domain and several other domains to various prominent members of the Bitcoin community.
Nakamoto is believed to be in possession of roughly one million bitcoins. At one point in December 2013, this was the equivalent of 1.1 billion US dollars. [6]

Identity

There are no records of Nakamoto's identity or identities prior to the creation of Bitcoin. Satoshi is a male, Japanese name, whose meaning is variously given as "wise", "clear-thinking", "quick-witted"[7][8] or "intelligent history", i.e. a person with intelligent ancestors.[9] "Nakamoto"(中本) is a Japanese family name.
On his P2P Foundation profile, Nakamoto claimed to be an individual male at the age of 37 and of Japanese origin, which was met with great skepticism due to his use of English and his Bitcoin software not being documented nor labelled in Japanese.[10]
The first release of his original Bitcoin software is speculated to be of a collaborative effort, leading some to claim that Satoshi Nakamoto was a collective pseudonym for a group of people.[11]
British English spelling in both source code comments and forum postings work implies Nakamoto, or at least one individual in the consortium claiming to be him, may be of Commonwealth origin.[1][12] One of his postings used the Anglicism "Bloody hard".[13] Bloody is an expletive attributive that is commonly used in Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, and by Anglophones from the Indian subcontinent. However, it is seldom heard in North America outside of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Many articles have been written about possible identities of Nakamoto. Here is a list of the notable possibilities
In a 2011 article in the New Yorker, Joshua Davis claimed to have narrowed down the identity of Nakamoto to a number of possible individuals, including the Finnish economic sociologist Dr Vili Lehdonvirta and Irish student Michael Clear, then a graduate student in cryptography at Trinity College Dublin.[14] Clear strongly denies he is Nakamoto,[15] as does Lehdonvirta.[16]
In October 2011, investigative journalist Adam Penenberg cited circumstantial evidence that identified Neal King, Vladimir Oksman and Charles Bry.[17] This included a patent application they filed in 2008.[18] All three men denied being Nakamoto when contacted by Penenberg.[17]
Max Keiser of Keiser Report on RT is rumored to be Nakamoto.[19]
In May 2013, Ted Nelson speculated that Nakamoto is really Japanese mathematician Shinichi Mochizuki.[20] Later, an article was published in The Age newspaper, in which it was claimed that Mochizuki has denied these speculations.[21]
Jed McCaleb is claimed by some to be Nakamoto.[22] McCaleb is the creator of Overnet, the eDonkey2000 file-sharing application and the founder of Mt.Gox Bitcoin exchange. Once a strong supporter of Bitcoin, McCaleb later co-founded the company Ripple Labs, to develop another digital currency, Ripple.[23] McCaleb is known to be a Japanophile, who resided in that country.[16]
In 2013, two Israeli mathematicians, Dorit Ron and Adi Shamir, published a paper claiming a link between Nakamoto and Ross William Ulbricht, alleged by the FBI to be the owner of the Silk Road online black market. The two based their suspicion on an analysis of the network of Bitcoin transactions,[24] but later retracted their claim.[25]
In December 2013, Nick Szabo was implicated using reverse textual analysis. Nick Szabo is also a decentralized currency enthusiast and published a paper on "bit gold"

A fixture on nationwide radio in the 1940s, he also had a string of hit records during the early 1950s as a member of the Weavers, most notably their recording of Lead Belly's "Goodnight, Irene", which topped the charts for 13 weeks in 1950.[1] Members of the Weavers were blacklisted during the McCarthy Era. A prolific songwriter, his best-known songs include "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" (with Joe Hickerson), "If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song)" (with Lee Hays of the Weavers), and "Turn! Turn! Seeger was one of the folksingers most responsible for popularizing the spiritual "We Shall Overcome" (also recorded by Joan Baez and many other singer-activists) that became the acknowledged anthem of the 1960s American Civil Rights Movement, soon after folk singer and activist Guy Carawan introduced it at the founding meeting of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) in 1960. In the PBS American Masters episode "Pete Seeger: The Power of Song", Seeger stated it was he who changed the lyric from the traditional "We will overcome" to the more singable "We shall overcome".
